Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was mixed. The rooms were fantastic with excellent facilities, offering a huge and exceptionally comfortable bed with amazing views toward Grasmere. However, the service was a letdown as the staff seemed inexperienced, lacking customer service skills. The location was picturesque, right on Grasmere lake, but the overdevelopment in the area was slightly disappointing. The dining experience, with ready cooked food under heat lights, was average. Despite some drawbacks, the facilities were good overall, making for a decent stay.
The hotel sits in a stunning location overlooking Grasmere lake, providing breathtaking views. The rooms offer a lovely valley view and come with a charming bathroom and decent pillows. The service, although provided by friendly staff, may vary in efficiency. Dining presents good quality ingredients with stunning views. Overall, a hotel with excellent views and some room for service improvement.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room had a fabulous view, with a huge bed and plenty of space, perfect for my electric wheelchair. The bath was big enough to swim in, making it a luxurious experience. The service was top-notch, from the attentive receptionist to the efficient housekeeping staff. The location was breathtaking, overlooking Grasmere lake. The dining experience was delightful, especially with the amazing views. I enjoyed the well-maintained facilities, adding to the overall comfort of my stay.
The hotel is situated right by the lake in a stunning surrounding, offering an exquisite dining experience. The rooms boast a lakeside view and nice extra touches; however, the service could be warmer and more attentive. The location is in a lovely part of the world, ideal for nature lovers and hikers.
I had a mix of experiences at this hotel. The rooms were equipped with a step-out balcony and a super king-size bed, yet the hotel felt more like a 4-star establishment with 5-star prices. The view from the room wasn't very exciting, and getting a Mountain View came at an additional cost.
